Social Inclusion Program
FANDIC creates inclusive spaces where the abilities of individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers are maximized. Operating within a rights-based culture, FANDIC promotes the inherent dignity of every person.
Their program include:
-
Inclusive Music: Providing music experiences that embrace diversity.
Fandic had another music teacher who attended three (3) times a week to work with the beneficiaries of the North campus and the South campus. This yielded excellent results in the use of music as a therapeutic tool and as part of the development of social skills.
· Purposeful Dance: Engaging in dance with specific intentions.
the Fandic dance group participated in different spaces during the year, such as Santander Bailando, academic events of universities, and social activities of the mayor’s office.
· Relationship Strategies and Communication Enhancement: Strengthening communication skills and connections. We participated in the parade at the Bucaramanga Fair through the streets of the city and commemoration of the day of disability and installation of the flag of disability in the Mesón de Los Búcaros, Plaza de las Banderas, as a strategy of visibility of people with disabilities
· Interactive and Inclusive Outings: Organizing outings that foster interaction and inclusion. Fandic participated in the Sports Olympics, an annual activity by Manuela Beltrán University.
Training and Activation of Paths to Address Human Rights Violations.
FANDIC participated in three (3) Working Groups with different government entities such as the ICBF, the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, Women and Gender, the Elderly, the Ombudsman's Office, the Early Childhood and Adolescence Program, to work in an articulated manner, for the benefit of some children, young people, and their families who require comprehensive care, to guarantee the enjoyment of their rights.
